Eine herzerwärmende Geschichte aus Preševo von Miriam Fischer
《Eine junge Syrerin hatte blau gefrorene Füsse. Ich habe ihr meine Schuhe geliehen, die warm gefüttert sind. Sie ist verschwunden und ich habe sie nicht wieder gesehen. Ich habe nicht gerechnet, meine Boots wieder zu bekommen. Kurz nach Mitternacht, bevor der Zug nach Sid abfuhr, kam sie strahlend auf mich zu, gab mir meine Schuhe zurück mit den Worten: „Thank you Miriam, a happy new year and may God bless you.“ Ich werde diese Schuhe nie mehr tragen, ohne an sie zu denken.
Ich wünsche euch allen ein glückliches neues Jahr. Mögen eure Schuhe euch dahin tragen wo ihr glücklich seid.

A heartwarming story from Miriam Fischer
《A young Syrian women had blue frozen feet. I gave her my thermo boots. She disappeared right away and I didn’t saw her again. I didn’t anymore expect to see my boots again. Shortly after midnight, before the next train to Sid would depart, thos Syrian girl came and looked very shiny to me… she gave me my boots back with the words: „Thank you Miriam, a happy new year and may God bless you.“
Every time I will wear those boots, I will remember her.
