Im Moment ist die Situation in Presevo sehr ruhig. Das Camp ist jedoch voll und wir haben neue Aufgabenbereiche gefasst, wie wir uns um die Menschen kümmern können, die hier ausharren und wahrscheinlich auch Asyl beantragen müssen.
Das Camp ist sehr einfach, Menschen schlafen eng gedrängt, doch die Stimmung ist erstaunlich gut. Die Erleicherung darüber, nicht mehr um das eigene Leben fürchten zu müssen ist spürbar.
In Zukunft, weil die mazedonisch/serbische Grenze fast keine Bewegung mehr zulässt, werden wir uns um die Menschen im Camp kümmern. Im Moment sind wir in Kooperation mit Danish Refugee Council DRC dabei die Renovation der Schule zu unterstützen, so dass die Kinder bald einem geregelten Tagesablauf nachgehen können.

The situation in Presevo is very calm at the moment. Nevertheless, the camp is full and we took over new tasks relating to how we can support the people who have to wait and most surely have to file for asylum here.
The camp is very rudimentary with people having to sleep in narrow space but the atmosphere is amazingly good. The relief about not having to fear for ones life is perceptible.
We will take care of these people in the camp in the future as the macedonian/serbian borders restrict nearly all movements. At the moment we cooperate with the Danish Refugee Council DRC in renovating the school so that the kids have a daily routine again soon.
