Es sind erschreckende Dinge passiert die letzten Tage hier in Idomeni, aber wir machen weiter, unsere Volontäre geben alles um den Menschen vor Ort beizustehen. Sie kochen nach wie vor für ca. 2000 Personen pro Tag und versorgen die Menschen mit dem Nötigsten so gut sie nur können. Es ist schön können wir ihnen helfen, wir sind dankbar und sie sind es noch viel mehr.
Die Sonne strahlt vom Himmel mit bis zu 30 Grad. Das ist besser als Regen und Kälte, aber ist auch nicht ohne, da die Menschen sehr wenig Schatten, keinen Sonnenschutz und oft nicht die richtige Kleidung dafür haben. Dazu gibt es wenig Wasser und in den Zelten wird es sehr heiss. Die hygienischen Umstände sind prekär und die medizinische Versorgung ist trotz Bemühungen komplett ungenügend. Die Lebensbedingungen der Menschen bleiben extrem schwierig.

There were horrifying things happening the last days here in #idomeni, but we go on, our volunteers give everything to support these people here. They still prepare meals for approx. 2000 people per day and supply them with the things they need most. It is great to be able to help them, we are grateful and they are even much more.
The sun is shining in the sky with nearly 30 degrees. It is better than rain and the cold but it is also harsh as the people do not find lots of shadow, no sun protection and quite often they do not haven suitable clothes. Even more, there is a shortage of water and it is very hot in the tents. The sanitary conditions are precarious and medical treatment is, despite the efforts, completely insufficient. The living conditions stay extremely difficult.
