Borderfree zum Theater- und Kochabend zu Besuch im Kafi Royal in Baden!
Gestern Abend hat sich Borderfree ins Kafi Royal verliebt. Als wir ankamen, waren ca. 80 Flüchtlinge in kleinen Gruppen fleissig am lernen. Der Gratis-Deutschunterricht ist sehr beliebt und wird rege genutzt. Die Stimmung war hochkonzentriert, während wir anfingen in der Küche Gemüse zu rüsten. Eine Gruppe gesellte sich sofort dazu und unterstützte uns tatkräftig beim Kochen. Unsere Küchenfee Julia hat alles so wunderbar vorbereitet und gekocht, dass wir für das Lammragout mit Reis, die Minestrone mit Kichererbsen und Teigwaren und den selbstgemachten Kuchen sehr viel Lob erhielten. Die Stimmung war fröhlich, wir haben viele gute Gespräche geführt und wollten eigentlich gar nicht mehr gehen.
Das Impro-Theater mit Musik rundete den Abend ab – auch hier wurde viel gelacht, geklatscht, mitimprovisiert und sogar auf den Rängen getanzt.
Das ist Integration at it’s best!

Borderfree at the theater- and cooking evening visiting Kafi Royal in Baden!
Yesterday evening, Borderfree fell in love with Kafi Royal. At our arrival, 80 refugees were diligently studying in small groups. The free German lessons are very appreciated and being used actively. The atmosphere was highly concentrated while we started preparing vegetables in the kitchen. One group instantly joined us and helped us with cooking. Our kitchen fairy Julia prepared and cooked everything so wonderfully so that we received a lot of compliments for the lamb stew with rice, the Minestrone with chickenpeas and the tagliatelle as well as the homemade cake. The atmosphere was cheerful, we had a lot of good conversations and we actually did not want to leave anymore.
The Impro-Theater with music topped off the evening – also here, a lot of laughing, applauding, co-improvising and even dancing in the ranks.
This is integration at it’s best!
